All Korean Drama Fanatics, welcome!

I've been a big supporter/follower of korean drama series as soon as it hits Philippines. I guess it's been in our culture to adopt anything that is foreign. I remember how Thalia captured the hearts of many Filipinos during 90's, all her Mexican Telenovelas where truly adored. Then there was the phenomenal Taiwanese Drama - "Meteor Garden" lead by Barbie Xu and Jerry Yan in 2003-2004. And I guess after the big hit made by Meteor Garden, the Korean Novela followed to hit the Philippines by storm.

Who would have not fall in love with these Korean Novelas... from Lovers in Paris, Endless Love (Autumn, Winter, Summer, and Spring), Stairways to Heaven, Full House, My Name Is Kim Sam Soon, and a lot more. As a matter of fact, some of these dramas was not just dubbed in Tagalog but made into a local drama series. But though I'm Filipino, I still prefer the original Korean version. The "kilig" factor plus the humor which is naturally delivered by the Korean Actors/Actresses, and I guess I'm a bit used to all the love teams here in the Philippines, sila na lang palagi, nakaka-umay na. Unlike with the Korean, iba-iba ng ka-love team.

And because of the local adaptations of these Korean Novelas, I thought why not just watch them again in the original version rather than the local ones. Not that I don't want to patronize our own, I just find the original version much appealing.
